Behind The Lens

Elise Morton is a freelance photojournalist and product photographer. She has a unique eye, curious mind and is always looking for new ways to capture the world.

She enjoys the challenge of trying to present life in a different way and telling a story with an interesting angle.

Her passion for photography started with a pink Barbie film camera she had as a child in the 90s, but it was not until she was a student reporter at The Sheridan Sun newspaper that she realized photography's importance.

Photography allowed her to show others her perspective and to express her creativity. Additionally, it was a means through which she could help others tell their own stories and connect with a larger audience.

Elise is currently in the process of completing her Bachelor Degree in the Photography program at Sheridan College.
